Job summary

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group seeks a licensed Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager – Infrastructure Development in Jacksonville, Texas. This hybrid, direct-hire role leads municipal water/wastewater projects from planning to closeout and coordinates with public-sector clients and regulators.

The ideal candidate has a Texas PE license, 6–8+ years of experience, and strong design, permitting, and client-management skills. Travel across Texas is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Current and active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas required.
• Ability to review, approve, and seal civil plans in Texas.
• 6–8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Experience in water/wastewater/municipal infrastructure projects.
• Experience with TCEQ permitting and submittals.
• Proficient with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through closeout.
• Sign/seal civil plans for Texas projects.
• Manage permits, approvals, and regulatory responses.
• Oversee project delivery, bidding, and construction support.
• Coordinate with municipalities, rural water systems, and utility clients.
• Provide mentorship to EITs and junior staff.
