MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking a licensed Texas Professional Engineer (PE) to lead civil infrastructure projects in a hybrid role based in Jacksonville, Texas. You will oversee water and wastewater projects from planning through closeout, engaging municipalities and utility clients across the state.

The role emphasizes technical design leadership, project management, and client relationships, with potential growth toward ownership or partnership as the firm expands.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Texas PE license active and required.
• 6–8+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Water/wastewater and municipal infrastructure experience.
• TCEQ permitting and plan-review experience.
• AutoCAD or similar design tools proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel Texas.
• Strong written communication and client-facing skills.

Aufgaben

• Review, design, and seal civil engineering plans for water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Texas.
• Lead engineering design for water distribution systems, wells, storage tanks and towers, treatment facilities, and related municipal utility infrastructure.
• Prepare, review, and manage TCEQ submittals, permitting documentation, regulatory responses, and approval workflows.
• Manage projects from initial planning and design through bidding, construction support, and closeout.
• Develop bid packages and support public-sector bidding and procurement processes.
• Review contractor submissions and provide engineering support throughout construction.
• Serve as a primary engineering contact for municipalities, rural water supply corporations, public works organizations, and utility clients.
