Job summary

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking a licensed Texas PE – Water & Wastewater Project Leader for a growing civil engineering firm in Texas. You will lead municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction, with client interactions and regulatory coordination.

We value hands-on design leadership, project management, and mentoring junior engineers. The hybrid Jacksonville, TX role offers growth toward ownership opportunities and strong leadership

Qualifications

• ABET/Civil Engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Active Texas PE license and ability to seal plans.
• 6–8+ years progressive civil engineering experience in water/wastewater.
• Experience with TCEQ permitting and plan review processes.
• Strong client-facing and project-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Review, design, and seal civil plans for water and wastewater projects in Texas.
• Lead engineering design for water distribution, wells, storage, treatment facilities.
• Prepare and manage TCEQ submittals and regulatory responses.
• Manage projects from planning through bidding and closeout.
• Develop bid packages and support public procurement.
• Review contractor submissions and provide construction support.
• Serve as primary engineering contact for municipalities and utilities.
• Coordinate drafting resources and provide technical direction.
• Mentor EITs and junior staff.
