Job summary

Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Civil Engineer with 5–10 years of progressive experience to design and manage water and wastewater projects, as well as civil/site initiatives. You will lead design, planning, and execution, coordinating with teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

A PE license and ABET-accredited degree are required, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Strong communication and budgeting skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in civil/site or water/wastewater system planning, design, and construction.
• P.E. license, registered in MD or eligible via comity within 6 months.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets, delivering projects on time and on budget while meeting quality requirements.
• Participate in pre-project presentations and interviews.
