Job summary

GRAEF is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in Sarasota, FL to lead multi-discipline civil projects across SW Florida. The role requires 8+ years of experience in stormwater, water quality, and pipeline design, plus a FL Professional Engineer license and AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency.

You will manage projects, liaise with clients, and mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality engineering solutions on challenging projects in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of technical experience in stormwater systems, water quality, storm water collection systems, and pipeline design.
• Professional Engineer registration in FL.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Project management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Project engineering and management; client management and development activities.
• Conduct collection systems modeling and design; present data in reports and memos.
• Lead design calculations and technical reports; prepare plans and specs for facilities and related infrastructure.
• Serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplinary team; work independently and mentor staff.
