GRAEF is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its MEP team in Sarasota, FL. You will design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems across diverse building types while mentoring junior staff and leading projects.

The role offers flexible hours with a hybrid schedule, opportunity for business development, and a path to growth within an established, employee‑owned firm. Knowledge of REVIT and Bluebeam is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical emphasis.
• Proficient with Bluebeam and REVIT.
• Project Management experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection for a variety of building types.
• Mentor less‑experienced staff and lead projects.
• Manage and lead project teams on diverse assignments.
• Opportunity to participate in business development to grow the backlog.
