Job summary

SCS Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Florida to lead civil, stormwater, and environmental projects in Central Florida. This role involves overseeing complex multi-disciplinary teams, maintaining budgets and schedules, and growing client relationships while delivering compliant, high-quality engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license in Florida and 15+ years of experience, with strong leadership, communication, and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or related engineering field.
• Active Florida PE license or ability to obtain within six months.
• 15+ years’ experience in civil, stormwater, environmental, or solid waste engineering.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong financial management and client communications.
• Ability to read regs and permits.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil, stormwater, environmental, and solid waste projects end-to-end.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and profitability.
• Develop work plans, budgets, and staffing.
• Coordinate engineers, scientists, CAD staff, and subcontractors.
• Mentor staff and promote safety and quality.
• Support business development and client relations.
