Herrera Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer - Stormwater in a flexible hybrid role in California. You will lead stormwater design projects, collaborate with ecologists and planners, and advance green infrastructure for diverse clients.

The role emphasizes project leadership and high-quality civil engineering design for municipal and industrial settings. With over 10 years in stormwater, you will develop plans, cost estimates, and technical reports while navigating

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in stormwater infrastructure.
• PE license in WA, OR, or CA (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• Experience designing stormwater infrastructure and cost estimates.
• Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling (SWMM, WWHM, HydroCAD).
• Knowledge of local stormwater regulations in WA/OR/CA.
• Experience with SWPPP and design documentation.

Responsabilités

• Plan and design stormwater facilities and retrofits for municipal and private clients.
• Lead civil site development for municipalities, parks, and industrial facilities.
• Navigate Municipal Stormwater Permits and Construction Stormwater Permits.
• Model flow control and water quality to meet regulatory standards.
• Produce plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
