Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with 11+ years of experience to provide technical leadership for utility-scale solar and BESS projects. The role involves managing civil due diligence, overseeing design deliverables, and ensuring constructability and cost optimization across all project phases.

Onsite in Juno Beach, FL, for a 1-year contract. The ideal candidate will report to the Project Manager and collaborate with EPCs, engineers, and surveyors to drive

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• 11–15 years of civil engineering experience required.
• Experience with utility-scale solar, BESS, substations, or large infra projects.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater, permitting and construction support.
• Experience managing external engineering firms and EPC contractors.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead civil due diligence reviews (ALTA, geotech, environmental, permitting, drainage, and grading).
• Manage and review EOR deliverables through design milestones (30/60/90/IFC).
• Support project development, constructability reviews, CAPEX estimates and value engineering.
• Coordinate with EORs, EPCs, surveyors, geotechnical consultants and internal teams.
• Review RFIs, change orders and construction issues through project execution.
• Support hydrology, drainage, roadway, grading and other site development activities.
• Provide technical leadership for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects.
