Job summary

Westinghouse Electric seeks a Civil/Mechanical Superintendent for a solar project in Juno Beach, FL. This 1-year on-site W‑2 contract puts you in the owner’s representative role to oversee civil and structural construction, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and performance per the Scope of Work.

Your day-to-day includes reviewing safety and contract documents, drawings and SWPPP, coordinating with EPC teams, leading field walks, and conducting QA/QC checks. Per diem is available.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Experience coordinating with EPC teams, contractors and management.
• Demonstrated safety and quality focus on civil/structural projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review Safety Documents and Policies
• Review Contract Documents (Scope of work)
• Review Civil/Mechanical Drawings and Specifications
• Ensure installation and maintenance of SWPPP per permit
• Ensure EPC schedules Pre‑Cons for new tasks
• Review Civil/Mechanical Checklist
• Attend EPC Safety, Craft Tailgates and Management Meetings
• Perform daily field walks and observations with field crews
• Perform QA/QC inspections and walk‑downs on construction activities
• Monitor Unifier Uploads by EPC
• Complete QA/QC inspections in Unifier per frequency and activity completion
• Track open action items or punch list
