Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Project Manager with engineering experience to lead value engineering projects within the Engineering and Construction unit. This onsite role focuses on Solar and BESS initiatives, with per diem provided.

You will manage projects from design through implementation, coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams. The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering background and 3+ years of project management experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing engineering projects from design to implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams.
• Strong project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from conceptual design through commissioning and implementation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to identify product improvements or cost reduction ideas.
• Support implementation by providing technical input and project feasibility assessments.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and partner communications.
• Attend industry conferences and network with suppliers and vendors.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices for project delivery.
