Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services team in Indianapolis. You will provide site development expertise for diverse projects, including data center campuses and large-scale developments, coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to move concepts through implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 10 years design experience managing civil/site design projects.
• Professional engineer license (PE or P.Eng) required.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan production for general civil engineering projects with emphasis on land development.
• Support the growth of HDR's site civil due diligence and campus planning practice.
• Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams in early project stages including zoning and entitlements.
• Perform quantity calculations.
• Prepare specifications and contract documents.
• Lead permitting efforts and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Serve as a technical expert in a specialized area as needed.
• Plan and supervise work of a medium to large staff.
