Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• 3–5 years of stormwater design and land development experience.
• Experience mentoring/supervising staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team player.
• Ability to travel across the United States (about 30%).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support civil design including site layout, utilities, grading, drainage, and stormwater management.
• Analyze data, review technical outputs, cost estimates, and environmental permits.
• Interact with clients and contribute to client management efforts.
• Mentor/lead staff as civil engineer lead.
• Monitor work output and maintain quality of work products.
• Interpret UFC, state stormwater rules, and local site development regulations.
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling with HEC-RAS, GeoSTORM, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Apply civil/environmental engineering principles to projects.
