Sargent & Lundy is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer to join our Energy & Industrial Group. You will design and coordinate civil site development for power plants, substation sites, and heavy industrial facilities, including grading, drainage, and earthwork. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams and ensure regulatory and client specifications are met.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) and a PE license, with 10+ years in similar settings.

Formación

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• PE license is required.
• 10+ years in project teams for heavy industrial designs, with site grading, earthwork, storm water, and road/rail design.

Responsabilidades

• Design and modify civil site work for power plant projects.
• Coordinate with PMs, clients, contractors and officials to ensure complete designs.
• Guide less experienced civil engineers and designers on project work.
• Prepare calculations for stormwater, sewer, earthwork, and drainage.
• Prepare site layouts, grading, drainage, and 3-D models with designers.
• Review submittals for conformance with specifications.
• Potential travel to client offices and site locations for reviews and verification.
• Prepare technical specifications for construction requirements.
