Sargent & Lundy is seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer to join our Energy & Industrial Group in a hybrid role. You will design, modify, and analyze heavy industrial systems for power plants, substation layouts, and related facilities.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a PE license, and 10+ years in project teams with site grading, earthwork, and drainage. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• PE license required.
• 10+ years in a project team environment for heavy industrial projects including site grading and earthwork.

Responsabilités

• Design, modify and analyze civil aspects of heavy industrial systems for power plants, substations, and transmission lines.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and contractors to ensure timely designs.
• Prepare calculations for storm water, drainage, pavement, ponds, and earthwork.
• Develop site layouts and 3-D design drawings with other designers.
• Travel to client sites for design reviews and field verification as needed.
