Sargent & Lundy in Hamilton, NJ is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary design team focused on power plants, substations, and related industrial projects. The role involves civil site development, calculations, designs, and specifications to support permitting and construction.

You will coordinate with project managers, clients, and vendors, and may guide other engineers. A BSCE is required, and a PE license is preferred. Hybrid work schedule with occasional travel is expected.

Qualifikationen

• BSCE from ABET-accredited program required.
• PE license or ability to obtain one is required.
• 5+ years in project teams for industrial design, power plant experience preferred.
• Experience in site grading, drainage, earthwork, and permits.

Aufgaben

• Prepare calculations for storm water drainage, sanitary systems, pavement thickness, ponds and earthwork to support permitting and design.
• Prepare technical specifications to define construction requirements.
• Prepare site layout, grading and drainage designs for 3-D models and drawings.
• Design storm drainage, roads, trackwork, storage and disposal ponds, and landfills.
• Review submittals for conformance with specs, travel to client sites as needed.
