Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a Civil Engineer with a BSCE to join our Energy & Industrial Group. You will design civil/site development for power plant projects, perform calculations, prepare specs, and collaborate with designers in a multi-discipline team.

The role covers site grading, storm drainage, road design, and may involve travel to client offices and plant sites. Hybrid schedule requires in-office work three days per week.

Qualifications

• BSCE from ABET-accredited program required.
• 1-2 years' experience in design techniques for technical plans and models.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare calculations for storm water drainage, sanitary sewer, earthwork.
• Prepare technical specifications and site layout, grading, drainage designs.
• Design storm sewer systems, roads, ponds, landfills as needed.
• Review shop drawings and vendor documentation for conformance.
• Travel to client offices or plant sites for reviews and field verification.
