Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer 3 for its Power Business Unit. This role can be based out of any office and may be fully remote, offering a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The candidate will lead civil design tasks, coordinate with professionals, and use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop detailed designs. A P.E. license and at least 8 years of experience are required along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil engineering design and project delivery experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) with multi-state reciprocity.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers and technicians.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage civil engineering tasks including site grading, drainage, and stormwater design.
• Prepare and review plans, specifications, and budgets; coordinate with clients and teams.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee project deliverables.
• Travel occasionally to client meetings and other offices (5–10%).
