Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the Power and Industry Business Sector. The role includes evaluating facilities, estimating costs, and designing electrical distribution systems for diverse clients.

The position supports a hybrid workplace policy and emphasizes strong communication with clients and internal teams. A PE license and ABET-accredited degree are preferred, with 8+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 8 years related experience in electrical power distribution.
• PE license and multi-state reciprocity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing facilities and perform conceptual studies.
• Design electrical power distribution systems and related systems.
• Estimate engineering and construction costs.
• Develop project documents and ensure quality assurance.
• Lead tasks and projects of moderately complex scopes.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
