Job summary

HBK Engineering is seeking a Civil Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) for our Spring, TX, Chicago, Geneva or Oak Brook offices. The role focuses on day-to-day management and development of direct reports, ensuring delivery of project work and financial aspects.

The candidate should bring a PE licensure, 10+ years of experience, and strong communication and leadership skills to guide teams across major projects and pursuits.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Typically 10+ years of engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop direct report team members through day-to-day oversight and professional development.
• Direct and coordinate technical activities related to project execution and delivery.
• Review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
• Develop new techniques and/or improved processes, materials, or products.
• Supervise all staff necessary to complete assignments.
• Oversee, evaluate, and mentor direct reports in day-to-day execution of assigned projects and organizational responsibilities.
