Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Senior Structural Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to serve as Engineer of Record and oversee technical execution across multiple states. The role focuses on structural and geotechnical utility infrastructure designs in power, renewables, telecom, gas, and municipal sectors.

The candidate will lead a team of engineers and designers, drive client success through project execution, and contribute to growth and excellence within HBK.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis on civil/structural/geotechnical engineering.
• Professional Engineer licensure in multiple jurisdictions or ability to obtain.
• 10+ years of experience in structural and/or geotechnical engineering.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects as Engineer of Record and oversee technical execution of structural/geotechnical designs.
• Provide technical oversight and day-to-day management for projects.
• Manage project teams of engineers, designers, and field personnel.
• Ensure high-quality client deliverables and identify project risks with mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align design with program goals.
