Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Active Virginia PE license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity within six months.
• 7+ years of experience overseeing commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project scheduling.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee land development projects from planning and design through construction and completion.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and construction activities.
• Review, interpret, and amend engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Assist in RFP preparation, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
• Ensure stormwater, utility designs, and civil infrastructure meet codes and standards.
