Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of civil engineering experience focused on land development, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure.
• Strong knowledge of site design, grading, stormwater management, utilities, permitting, and applicable local and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design and development projects for commercial, residential, and mixed-use properties from initial planning through construction.
• Manage site design, grading, stormwater management, drainage, utilities, roadway layouts, and permitting.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, developers, municipalities, and regulatory agencies, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for continued business.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and coordination with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Prepare and review engineering plans, technical reports, calculations, and permitting documents to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and design staff while contributing to team development, process improvements, and overall project success.
• Collaborate with company leadership on business development, strategic planning, and the long-term growth of the firm.
