Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• North Carolina Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design Land Development projects, utilities, and private developments.
• Lead studies and design from concept through construction documentation.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for projects.
• Support client relationship development and business development efforts.
• Coordinate design activities between staff, subcontractors, and clients.
• Participate in technical decisions on approaches, costs, and timing.
• Interface with clients and public agencies as needed.
• Collaborate with CAD designers and GIS technicians.
• Mentor junior engineers in final design and construction plans.
