Job summary

Talon Hiring Solutions is partnering with a leading engineering and infrastructure organization to identify an experienced Civil Engineer IV to lead the design and execution of complex site development, infrastructure, and industrial projects.

This position is ideal for a senior civil engineering professional who enjoys technical leadership, project execution, mentoring engineering teams, and driving the successful delivery of large, multidisciplinary projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
PE license preferred.
8+ years of civil engineering experience on infrastructure/site projects.
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering efforts.
Strong site development, grading, drainage, and stormwater expertise.
Knowledge of permitting, regulatory processes, and standards.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Office.
GIS/MicroStation or hydraulic modeling experience is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Experience working with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

Lead design efforts for large-scale infrastructure, industrial, and site development projects.
Develop and review conceptual studies, feasibility, and design packages.
Oversee site grading, stormwater, drainage, and utility design.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Prepare engineering reports, studies, specs, and construction docs.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and technical priorities.
Support permitting activities and regulatory compliance.
Mentor junior engineers and designers.
Provide senior technical support during construction and commissioning.
Review RFIs, submittals, and field changes.
