Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in Westminster, CO, with options for remote work for the right candidate.

The role involves designing site development and industrial infrastructure, preparing drawings, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary engineers and architects. Ideal candidates have a PE or ability to obtain within 12 months, 4–10 years of civil engineering experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Four to ten years of related civil engineering experience.
• PE license required or ability to obtain within 12 months of start date.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% local/daytime travel; occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite; AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead designs for site grading, site layout, stormwater management, sewers, water piping, pavement, and site development for industrial facilities.
• Develop contract documents including drawings, details, specs, and scopes of work using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• Lead gathering field data through hand measurements, surveying, and 3D scanning.
• Estimate material quantities and prepare budgetary construction cost estimates.
