Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Four to ten years of related civil engineering experience.
• PE license required or ability to obtain within 12 months of start date.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% local/daytime travel; overnight travel may be required.
• Experience in engineering consulting and/or manufacturing facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead designs for site grading, layout, stormwater, sewers, water piping, roads, and site development for industrial facilities.
• Develop engineering contract documents including drawings, specs, and scopes of work using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Office tools.
• Lead field data collection, surveying, 3D scanning, and ground penetrating radar.
• Estimate material quantities and prepare budgetary construction cost estimates.
