Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Civil Engineer to join our team in one of eight office locations, with a fully remote option for the right candidate.

The role is salaried with potential overtime and offers opportunities to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team on industrial projects. Required is a PE or the ability to obtain within 12 months, a BS in Civil Engineering, and 4–10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Civil Engineering or university with ABET accreditation.
• 4–10 years of related civil engineering experience.
• PE license required or ability to obtain within 12 months of start date.
• Ability to travel up to 20% locally/ daytime travel; overnight travel may be required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead designs for site grading, site layout, stormwater management, sewers, water/piping, pavement, parking, and site development for industrial facilities.
• Develop engineering contract documents including drawings, details, specifications, and installation scopes using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MS Office.
• Lead field data collection including surveying, 3D scanning, and hand measurements.
• Lead material take-offs and prepare budgetary construction cost estimates.
