Job summary
Arcadis in North America is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to provide design support on Industrial Infrastructure projects, including Transit and Freight Rail, across North America. You will mentor engineering teams and review regulations while developing design documentation.
A PE license and 10 years of civil/site design experience are preferred, with expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and related tools to deliver high-quality plans and specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
- PE license required.
- 10 years of civil/site design experience.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Proficiency with Project Management and Document Management Platforms: BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and lead teams during production of plans and specifications.
- Review regulations and standards governing design and permitting activities.
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and geologic data to develop technical design information.
- Use CAD/engineering software and simulation models to prepare analyses and documents.
- Prepare reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and technical designs for civil/site and railroad projects.
- Address RFIs from contractors related to design documents.
