Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing group, working on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll manage schedule and quality, perform initial civil design for land/site development, grading, and earthwork calculations, and benefit from strong mentoring opportunities to grow in your career.

Ideal candidates have direct experience with AI, Hyperscale, or Colocation data center projects, with preference for large-scale, utility-intensive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 15+ years of engineering experience on large industrial projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D design modules.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development and master planning for industrial facilities.
• Design underground utilities and site space planning.
• Perform hydrology analysis for storm drainage designs.
• Analyze and design gravitational wastewater systems.
• Create final grading plans with earthwork balancing.
• Develop erosion and sediment control and stormwater plans.
• Ensure compliance with AHJ requirements for design/construction.
• Model stormwater using software like StormCAD or CivilStorm.
