Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing group, delivering expert civil design for land/site development on AI, Hyperscale and Colocation data center facilities. You’ll manage schedule, quality and client expectations, with mentorship in a multi-disciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in large-scale industrial projects, AHJ coordination, and strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, with a PE license or ability to obtain it within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• PE license or ability to get licensed within 6 months
• 15+ years of engineering experience
• Strong working knowledge in designing medium to large scale industrial developments
• Ability to lead projects in civil design within a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize initial civil design for land/site development
• Prepare grading plans and earthwork/stormwater calculations
• Oversee schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and mentoring opportunities
• Perform site master planning and space planning
• Research AHJ requirements for design and construction
• Stormwater analysis and modeling (StormCAD/CivilStorm)
