Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing group and lead multi-disciplinary teams on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You will oversee schedule and quality as you develop early civil design concepts for land/site development and supervise earthwork and drainage analyses.

The role emphasizes experience with AI, hyperscale, or colocation data center projects and the ability to navigate complex regulatory and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with large-scale industrial projects.
• Strong ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize initial civil design for land/site development.
• Prepare grading plans and perform earthwork calculations.
• Design hydrology and gravity wastewater systems.
• Develop final grading plans including cut and fill analysis.
• Provide erosion and sediment control and stormwater plans.
• Coordinate with AHJs and ensure compliance with local codes.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
