Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for the Advanced Manufacturing group to lead civil design for land and site development on AI, Hyperscale, colocation data center facilities and other mission-critical projects.

You will manage scheduling and technical quality, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to earthwork, drainage, and utility design while benefiting from mentorship and growth opportunities in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license or ability to obtain license within 6 months.
• 15+ years of engineering experience on large-scale industrial developments.

Responsibilities

• Site development, site master planning and site selection.
• Underground utility routing and site space planning.
• Hydrology analysis for storm drain design.
• Design of gravitational wastewater systems.
• Final grading plans including earthwork balancing.
• Erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater permitting support.
• Researching AHJ requirements for design and construction.
• Stormwater analysis and modeling in StormCAD/CivilStorm.
