Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for its Advanced Manufacturing group to work on state-of-the-art industrial facilities and campus-scale projects. You will lead multi-disciplinary design, manage schedule and quality, and collaborate with stakeholders to meet client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

The role emphasizes hands-on civil design for land/site development, with mentorship and growth opportunities in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license or ability to get licensed within 6 months.
• 15+ years of engineering experience, including extensive related project experience.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and construction drawings/tech specs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Site master planning and site development.
• Underground utility routing and site space planning.
• Hydrology analysis for stormwater systems.
• Design of gravitational wastewater systems.
• Final grading plans including earthwork balancing.
• Erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater management.
• AHJ requirement research and compliance for design/construction.
• Stormwater analysis and modeling (StormCAD, CivilStorm).
