Bechtel Global Corporation seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to ensure civil/structural activities meet codes, Bechtel procedures, and project objectives for safety, quality, schedule and cost. The position reports to the Civil Engineering Lead.

The role involves leading day-to-day civil/structural engineering on large EPC projects, coordinating with procurement and construction, and applying engineering analysis and design software on dam and hydro power initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with planning, design, scheduling and cost control on large civil projects.
• Knowledge of dam construction methods and field execution.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary design teams.

Responsabilités

• Plans, develops, directs, and participates in Civil/Structural engineering on medium to large projects.
• Designs and evaluates Civil components using established BSAPs and design checks.
• Analyzes problems with conflicting design requirements and sketches solutions.
• Evaluates unconventional materials and coordination needs.
• Prepares equipment, work and material specs; conducts bid evaluations and award recommendations.
• Provides assistance to project and construction management on civil/structural requirements.
