Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to lead instrumentation and controls for a large hydropower facility, including underground powerhouse and balance of plant systems. You will drive design development, interface management, constructability, and commissioning support with EPC teams.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Electrical or Control Systems Engineering from a recognized institute.
Minimum 15 years total experience with progressive control systems engineering.
Experience supporting powerhouse or BOP systems on large hydro projects.
Knowledge of CAD and standard engineering design tools.

Responsibilities

Review design for BOP and control systems in alignment with project specs.
Coordinate control system designs with civil, mechanical, electrical teams and vendors.
Provide construction and commissioning support, RFIs, field evaluations.
Interface with OEMs for system integration and testing procedures.
Lead design reviews, safety in design workshops, and HAZID/HAZOP activities.
