Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Data Centers/Advanced Manufacturing group. You will lead civil design, site planning, and due diligence for large data center and manufacturing projects, coordinating with architectural, energy, and environmental teams to meet client goals.

You will drive site feasibility studies, grading and drainage analyses, and permitting packages, while guiding cross‑functional teams through complex evaluations and capital investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or clearly in progress.
• Experience leading site development and industrial projects from design through construction.
• Strong ability to perform due diligence evaluations and site feasibility analyses.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and construction documentation is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clients and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design for large data center and manufacturing facilities.
• Perform site feasibility, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting analyses.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, energy, water, and environmental groups.
• Prepare and review technical reports, memoranda, and executive summaries.
• Lead due diligence and site acquisition support for capital investments.
• Develop permitting packages and interact with AHJs and authorities.
