Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Data Center group, guiding civil design, due diligence, and site selection for state-of-the-art facilities. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams to evaluate grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting, ensuring schedule and technical quality throughout design and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and PE license.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with site development and industrial projects.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary due diligence and development teams.
• Proven ability to coordinate site selection, land acquisition, and permitting.
• Strong written and verbal communication for client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development, grading, drainage, and water/wastewater analyses for data center and industrial facilities.
• Perform technical due diligence for greenfield/brownfield sites and assist with site selection.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Civil, Architectural, Energy, Water, Environmental, Geotechnical and Utilities.
• Prepare permitting packages and executive-level feasibility reports.
• Develop roadmaps for site acquisition, development, and capital projects.
