Job summary

Jacobs leads global engineering solutions and seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Data Centers/Advanced Manufacturing team. You will lead civil design for large facilities, conduct technical due diligence, and coordinate across disciplines to deliver site development, permitting, and investment decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with site development and industrial projects.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design modules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings to clients and leadership.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development and master planning for large data center facilities.
• Lead technical due diligence for greenfield and brownfield development opportunities.
• Evaluate grading, drainage, utilities, permitting, and access feasibility.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, energy and power, water/wastewater, environmental, and permitting.
• Prepare due diligence reports and executive‑level recommendations.
• Lead the development and submission of permitting packages.
