Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Data Center group in the United States. You will lead civil design and due diligence for large data center and industrial facilities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure schedule, budget, and technical quality.

The role requires a PE license and 15+ years of experience in land development and heavy industrial projects, with strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills and experience in permitting and site selection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license is required.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in site development and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead site development, master planning, and land/site selection for large data center facilities.
• Lead technical due diligence for greenfield and brownfield opportunities.
• Prepare grading plans, earthwork analyses, and drainage design.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, architectural, energy, water, environmental, and permitting disciplines.
• Develop and submit permitting packages and feasibility reports.
