Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Civil Design Manager (Lead Civil Designer) to lead QA/QC, review technical work, and coordinate with multi-discipline teams. Travel to job sites may be required as you direct staff and ensure high-quality deliverables.

You will work in a flexible environment with remote and hybrid options across Olsson offices, contributing to diverse land development projects and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Drafting required.
• 10 years CAD software experience, specifically AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Project management skills for medium-sized projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages staff on technical aspects of projects, coordinating with all disciplines.
• Plans and oversees the quality review process for project deliverables.
• Provides senior design review and acts as a resource for technical issues.
• May assist in preparing project studies with drawings and data collection.
• Promotes efficiencies to produce quality work.
