Olsson is seeking a Lead Civil Designer to oversee quality assurance and provide senior-level design review for site design projects. You will direct staff and coordinate with disciplines, traveling to sites as needed to ensure robust, buildable solutions.

The role supports flexible work options, including remote or hybrid arrangements, across Olsson offices. You will mentor staff, strengthen SME areas, and contribute to project studies as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork to lead design teams effectively.
• Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines on complex projects.
• Proven project management skills for medium-sized projects.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages staff on technical aspects of projects.
• Plans and oversees quality review of project deliverables.
• Provides senior-level design review and client guidance.
• May assist in studies with drawings, sketches, data collection.
• Promotes efficiencies and oversees junior staff.
