Olsson seeks a Lead Civil Designer to head design reviews, supervise staff, and guide quality across projects. The role involves client meetings, staff direction, and coordinating multi-discipline efforts on site development and infrastructure projects.

The candidate will mentor teammates, travel to sites, and contribute to ongoing design excellence within Olsson’s Site Design group. Flexible work options include remote/hybrid schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are essential and you will collaborate across disciplines.
• Team collaboration and leadership capabilities are required for coordinating design efforts.
• Experience in project management for medium-sized projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage staff on technical aspects of CAD design projects.
• Lead quality assurance/quality control for deliverables.
• Provide senior-level design reviews and client-facing support.
• Travel to job sites as needed and participate in client meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and promote design efficiencies.
