Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee high-level site design projects, providing technical direction and ensuring quality deliverables. The role focuses on civil design for mixed-use and commercial projects, with accountability for design integrity and client satisfaction.

The position offers hybrid or remote work options and requires a licensed professional engineer with extensive supervision experience. Travel to client sites and offices may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Registered professional engineer with at least four years supervising technical personnel.
• Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals, etc.
• Working knowledge of Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale project design as technical lead from design to completion.
• Perform high-level analysis and review for standards compliance.
• Monitor engineering processes to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Develop standards and guidelines for engineering activities to ensure quality.
• Mentor and elevate technical expertise within the team.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
