Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee high-level site design for complex projects. You will guide the design from initial concept through completion, ensuring compliance with codes and client standards.

The role emphasizes mentoring, standards development, and collaboration with project managers to deliver on time and within budget. Flexible work arrangements include remote/hybrid options across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years of Civil Engineering experience required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the US or eligible.
• Minimum four years supervising technical personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale project design as technical lead from concept to completion.
• Review project documents for codes, standards, and regulations.
• Oversee engineering processes to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Develop and implement standards for diverse engineering activities.
• Mentor and elevate team technical capabilities.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet schedule and budget.
• Collaborate to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of design tasks.
• Demonstrate creativity and responsible decision-making in design work.
