Olsson is seeking a Lead Civil Designer to lead QA/QC, provide senior level design reviews, and manage project staff across disciplines. You will direct technical work, coordinate with disciplines, and may travel to job sites during construction.

This role offers flexible work options (remote/hybrid) with opportunities to work from any Olsson office in the region; a strong background in AutoCAD Civil 3D and project management is essential to deliver quality site design for diverse development

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Drafting is required.
• 10 years of CAD software experience, specifically AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Project management skills for medium-sized projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Directs and manages staff on technical aspects of projects including coordination with all disciplines involved on projects.
• Plans and oversees the quality review process of project deliverables.
• Provides a consultative resource to clients for project resolution.
• Strengthens and further develops subject matter expertise in certain design areas.
• Provides senior-level design review for various projects on the team and acts as a resource for technical issues.
• May assist in the preparation of project studies by completing drawings, sketching, or acquiring data.
• Promotes efficiencies in producing quality work.
• Supervises and reviews assignments of less experienced staff.
