Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing group in the United States. You will oversee multi-discipline civil design for land/site development, grading, and earthwork calculations, while mentoring a team and aligning with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

You will contribute to site master planning, utility routing, hydrology, and stormwater design, with emphasis on reliability and long-term campus expansion planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months preferred.
• 15+ years of engineering experience on large, complex projects.
• Experience with design and delivery of mission-critical industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Site development, master planning and site space planning.
• Underground utility routing and site space planning.
• Hydrology analysis for stormwater systems.
• Design and analysis of gravity wastewater systems.
• Prepare final grading plans with earthwork balancing.
• Develop erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater permits.
• Coordinate with AHJs and ensure compliance on design/construction.
• Stormwater modeling using industry software.
