Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Advanced Manufacturing group, working on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for schedule and technical quality while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team and gaining client exposure.

You will contribute to initial civil design, grading, drainage, and site planning, with mentorship opportunities and a hybrid work model across Jacobs offices and remote locations.

Qualifications

• Direct experience delivering AI, Hyperscale, or Colocation data center facilities.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in large industrial developments.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D design modules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize initial civil design for land/site development.
• Prepare grading plans and earthwork balancing.
• Perform hydrology analysis for storm drain design.
• Lead underground utility routing and site space planning.
• Mentor and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
