Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Senior Civil Engineer for our Advanced Manufacturing group to work on state-of-the-art industrial facilities and data center infrastructure. You will be responsible for scheduling and technical quality on multi-discipline civil design, and will collaborate with a team to meet client expectations, scope, budget and schedule.

You will lead and mentor within civil design, contribute to earthwork and drainage calculations, and support adherence to local AHJ requirements while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE license or ability to get licensed within 6 months.
• 15+ years of engineering experience, with large-scale industrial projects.
• Strong working knowledge of designing medium to large scale industrial developments.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil design and drawings.
• Ability to lead project discipline on complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Site development, master planning, and site space planning.
• Underground utility routing and site space planning.
• Hydrology analysis for storm drain systems.
• Designing gravitational wastewater systems.
• Final grading plans including earthwork balancing.
• Erosion and sediment control & stormwater plans; permit support.
