Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for our Advanced Manufacturing group to lead multi-disciplinary civil design on state-of-the-art industrial facilities. You’ll oversee scheduling, technical quality, and work with stakeholders to meet client expectations, scope, and budget.

You will perform site development, grading, drainage, and utility routing, while applying hydrology analyses and earthwork balancing. Mentorship and growth opportunities abound in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 15+ years of engineering experience with large-scale industrial projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D design modules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Site development, grading plans, and earthwork calculations.
• Underground utility routing and site space planning.
• Hydrology analysis for stormwater design.
• Design gravitational wastewater systems.
• Final grading plans including cut/fill analysis.
• Erosion and sediment control plans and stormwater permit support.
• Adhere to AHJ requirements for design and construction.
• Stormwater modeling in StormCAD/CivilStorm.
